The new beast of the asphalt. Mansory presents his latest creation on the Audi RS Q8. The sportiest SUV of the brand with the four rings reveals the elegance and sportiness of carbon fiber, demonstrating its performance by putting the standard engine on a new power bar, with 780 hp.
It could be a lot more radical and extravagant than Mansory’s latest creation appears, but the coach has decided to stay a lower rung on his ladder of aggressiveness. The Audi RS Q8 presents a more distinguished image compared to Audi’s series production model, largely responsible for the amount of carbon fiber applied.
A new tuning proposal that has presented the sporty SUV with the body painted in gloss black and a line extended longitudinally from end to end, together with some very discreet details in red, such as the edges of the rear diffuser pipes or the grille of the front air intakes. But the decoration is not the only exterior novelty of the RS Q8 from Mansory, but also the special carbon fiber parts.
The bonnet panel, front splitter, diffuser, and rear spoiler are made of this lightweight material that not only provides a special, more luxurious aesthetic but also allows a few kilos to be dropped from the overall weight. The 23-inch diameter forged alloy wheels also contribute to this, although for those who still consider the wheel arches to be “somewhat empty”, normal 24-inch alloy wheels are offered.
Inside, the interior also exudes more luxury than sportiness, with a special application of carbon fiber, from the steering wheel rim to the center tunnel through the dashboard. Mansory has also replaced the standard front seats, opting for their own that maintain the sporty shapes, but are upholstered in a combination of red and black leather, with red contrast stitching in the darker sections.
Audi Sport’s powerful 4.0-liter V8 Biturbo engine today delivers a maximum output of 600 hp and 800 Nm of torque. The two new turbochargers, a modified engine control unit, and a new exhaust system, have increased these parameters to 780 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque, resulting in acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 3, 3 seconds – compared to 3.8 seconds for the series model – and a top speed of 320 km / h.
