Chevrolet Bolt EUV: Appears in a Render

Designers at TopElectricSUV took the previews revealed last month and rendered in a render what the new SUV based on the revamped Chevrolet Bolt would look like.

The name Chevrolet Bolt EUV first appeared in 2019, when a report was filed on a trademark application. Thus, speculation began about the new electric SUV, based on the revamped Bolt.

That being said, several official previews have already been unveiled on this new SUV. Now, the TopElectricSUV designers decided to make an unofficial illustration of what the future Bolt EUV 2022 would look like.

Now, the first rumors were confirmed by Chevrolet, who announced that they were working on a new electric vehicle at their Orion factory alongside the Bolt. Then, in May 2020, spy photos were revealed that first discovered the Bolt EUV prototype

Thus, before the end of 2020, the American firm revealed a series of photos inside and out, as well as a short video of the SUV’s sequential turn signals. These teasers caught the attention of the designers, who had them as a reference to create the representation.

It should be noted that the Bolt EUV will be Chevrolet’s first production electric model to feature the Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system. Also, the use of this technology in the SUV may require a paid subscription.

Now the model won’t use General Motors’ Ultium battery technology, but it will be able to reach more than 500 kilometers per NEDC cycle. Also, the new electric SUV will feature automatic lane change.

At the moment the official launch date of the new Chevrolet Bolt EUV 2022 is unknown, it seems that its production will begin this year. Thus, there is a possibility that the new Bolt hatchback will be presented earlier and the SUV will follow closely.
