The engines of the new FIAT Panda 2021

And what about the mechanical supply? The new 2021 range of the FIAT Panda gives greater prominence to the 1.0-liter Firefly three-cylinder petrol engine with 70 hp and 92 Nm of maximum torque. This block is electrified with 12-volt mild-hybrid technology. As it is classified as a hybrid car, the Panda will be able to wear the ECO environmental badge of the DGT (General Directorate of Traffic) with all the advantages that this implies.

Conventional motors are also available. If we venture into the configurator we will find a 0.9-liter TwinAir Turbo petrol engine with 85 hp and 145 Nm of maximum torque. FIAT also confirmed that biofuel engines adapted to LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) will be offered. Depending on the chosen engine we will find a front-wheel drive or 4 × 4 drive system. In both cases, there will be a six-speed manual gearbox.
