Range Rover celebrates half a century of design and engineering excellence with special edition versions and advanced diesel engines. The new versions of this special edition include the Range Rover Fifty Edition, for the brand’s 50th anniversary, as well as the Westminster Edition, Westminster Black Edition, and SVAutobiography Dynamic Stealth. Only 1,970 units of the new Range Rover Fifty Edition will be released as a tribute to the year of birth of this iconic model. Options include three classic colors from Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations division.
The mechanics available are a new family of 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder Ingenium diesel engines that feature 48V Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) technology and PHEV plug-in hybrid technology (P400e) with which it achieves up to 40 km of electric autonomy, homologous a fuel consumption of 3.5 l / 100 km and CO 2 emissions of only 75 g / km. It also includes the intelligent Terrain Response 2 system that offers up to seven driving modes.
The luxurious cabin incorporates the latest comfort features, such as Executive Class seats with Hot Stone massage function and an extended wheelbase bodywork version. The new Range Rover incorporates Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for maximum compatibility with smartphones, with up to eight 4G Wi-Fi connections.
The Range Rover Sport has been upgraded and also features new smooth six-cylinder diesel engines, as well as new special edition versions that provide the customer with a wider choice than ever before.
Range Rover 2021 Engine
For the sport version, the new and efficient in-line six-cylinder Ingenium diesel engines with 48 V light hybridization Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) technology are also available. Thanks to Mild Hybrid technology, the new architecture Ingenium diesel engines in-line they offer similar performance to that of a V8 engine but with the fuel consumption and emissions typical of six-cylinder engines. They are available alongside the powerful petrol engines and the efficient PHEV plug-in hybrid engines. The Range Rover Sport P400e PHEV plug-in hybrid offers an electric range of 41 km and WLTP fuel consumption of 3.2 l / 100 km, now also featuring a fast-charging cable.
The new Range Rover Sport now arrives with a series of Special Editions, with more equipment and improved qualities such as the new HSE Dynamic Stealth, with new technologies and improved equipment that join the range together with the HSE Silver and the striking SVR version. Carbon Edition. The solid and luxurious Range Rover Sport features enhancements such as new exterior color options and new interior accents. In the cabin, we also find the most advanced connectivity technologies such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto that are included as standard throughout the range, with 4G Wi-Fi connections for up to eight devices.
The Range Rover Sport SVR Carbon Edition special edition is offered with a striking combination of a carbon fiber-trimmed exterior with 22-inch alloy wheels for a more understated look.
As for the engine, it has been finished by hand by Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations which is where it makes the fastest and most powerful Range Rovers, achieving greater performance and an imposing presence. This version features the unique 575PS supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that delivers the distinctive sound and enables Range Rover Sport SVR to go from 0-100 km / h in 4.5 seconds.
